Price and supply

What the figures on a token page mean.

Price

The price on a token page is the pool's own price, read from its square-root price and shown as ETH per token. It is the price the next small trade would get, before fee and impact. A larger trade walks the price as it goes, which is what the impact line in the trade panel measures.

Market cap

Price × 1,000,000,000, in ETH. It is fully diluted by construction: the whole supply exists from the launch transaction and there is no minting, no vesting and no locked tranche to add later. At the opening price that figure is about 1.025 ETH.

Bought, and the multiple

The bar on a token page is the share of the pool's tokens that buyers have taken out of it, measured against what the position opened with rather than against total supply. Beside it is how far the price has travelled from the opening price, as a multiple. The band runs to about 992×, at which point the position holds no tokens and all of them are held by buyers.

Who holds what

At launch, one address holds the supply: the pool. Every token in circulation was bought out of it, so a holder list is a record of buys rather than of allocations. A creator who wants a position buys it in the open like anyone else, in a later transaction than the launch — the launch itself buys nothing, and ETH sent beyond the creation fee is returned in the same transaction.
